How about a 4 foot leopard
for the living room?
The cat insurance might be tricky
Following on from the Toyger the latest designer pet to hit the UK is a 4 foot leopard cat costing up to £12,000. No we're not joking.
If you fancy keeping the neighbour's dogs at bay try getting the latest designer pet cat - the Ashera - costing £12,000 and standing at up to 4 feet tall. Not only that, this little (or big) beauty lives for an average of 25 years.
The Ashera is billed as the world's most exotic and largest domestic cat and a is a cross between an African Serval, an Asian Leopard Cat and an undisclosed domestic breed. It stands 4 feet tall, lives for 25 years and weighs 30lbs and comes from - yes you've guessed it - the USA.
The Ashera is being sold by entrepreneur
Simon Brodie whose firm used a team of geneticists to develop the breed. Despite it's fiery appearance, the Ashera is low maintenance, friendly and happy to eat cat food from Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury. The only drawback is that it does prefer a heated bed - a small outlay if you've spent £12,000 on a cat.
Not sure what the cat insurance might cost for this little beauty
