Elvis the Parrot gets an ASBO
A UK pet owner has been threatened with an ASBO because his pet parrot dive bombs neighbours, Pet Health Insurance understands.
Edward Pikul, 49, allows his pet macaw to fly free round his local village. With a 2-foot wing span
, the pet apparently attacks villagers, chews through TV cables and smashes street lights. The behaviour of the parrot has so alarmed locals that anti-social behaviour officials are now monitoring its antics in Wilsden, West Yorkshire.
The pet is looked after by Edward and his daughter Melissa. They have vowed not to lock him up
claiming it would not be suitable. They have owned Elvis for 7 years.
