British Pets pampered in Festive Spree
A recent report estimates that British pets were at their pampered best
over Christmas 2006 as their owners lavished them with all sorts of goodies and treats. The report, by PDSA pet insurance, reckons that British pet owners went to town this Christmas and really spolied their pets.
A staggering 92% of British pet owners bought their pet a present over Christmas, with 30% buying them a card and 62% going to the trouble over gettign their pets a stocking. Most British pet owners just can't bear to leave thei pets out of the festive celebrations.
Liza Randall of the PDSA was quoted as saying that pet owners who really love their pets should consider pet insurance for their cat, dog, rabbit or other valuable pet. Pet insurance is probably the most valuable and thoughtful present a pet owner can buy for their pet - and what's more it will save virtually every pet owner in the long-term. Buy pet insurance while your pet is still young and you can be covered right into your pet's old age - when veterinary care can be very expensive.
